PORTABLE MOUNTING OPTIONS FOR SINK KAYAK
The SRA CB-1 and SRA LP-1 are best attached to permanantly mounted stainless steel eye-pads and stainless steel hardware. For occasions where the SRA devices are to be utilized temporarily on rented or borrowed kayaks, please utilize the recommended procedures below:
1. For the attachment of the SRA CB-1 bronze eye-snap to the kayak attachment cord: Utilizing an approx 3 foot long #4 solid braided nylon cord with a minimum 40 pound tensile strength rating, tie a double overhand loop knot at one end of the cord, thread other end of cord through and around the mounting bolts of two adjacent eye-pads (or recessed eye pads as typically found on newer kayaks). Feed loose end of the cord through the loop eye, pull tightly and secure with two overhand knots (see Photo #1). Attach the SRA CB-1 bronze eye snap to any point along the nylon cord (see Photo #2)
